What’s Happening AT BROADFIX

Twelve months ago we were faced with rising manufacturing costs, high inventory, and a long list of back orders, which understandably, led to some frustration with our valued customers.

Richard and Clive did not know what to expect when they attended a free “Lean for Small and Medium Enterprise” workshop presented by TXM in 2017.  However, inspired by this event and seeing a pathway through the challenges we faced, we therefore asked TXM UK Senior Consultant Lee Candy to visit us and conduct an initial review. Lee saw huge potential in the Broadfix operation and the resulting Lean deployment has delivered some spectacular results. In fact, we have seen a 25% reduction in inventory and our backorders have fallen by 80%. Most importantly, we are easily keeping up with increased demand, due to less downtime and faster changeovers. Many thanks to Lee and the TXM guys!
